嗯,是想表达无论发生什么不好的事情,但只要你在我身边就一切OK了.
MV里表达最明显的就是最后DIDO所在的房子被推翻了,最后那里不是成了废墟了么?其实就是歌词"and even if my house falls down now"的体现,其他的MV部分想表达的东西都是与歌词有关的/

在甚多的MV 中，表达对情爱追求、爱慕表达的很多，但dido却另开篇章，习以平常的一天，阳光明媚，对于平台人来说，有的啃着烧卖上班，有的牵着恋人的收逛街，有的做在办公室看报纸，但mv 里面主人翁等来的，确实暴力的拆迁队，还有两个碰杯的JC，他们拿着当地ZF的拆迁令，疯狂的开始敲门，并破门而入，但在主人翁的脸上，依旧是笑容，“I want to thank you for giving me the best day of my life”，门被踢开，吐着烟圈的工人，准备开工的机器，可恶的开发商，无意给画面增减了一种极为讽刺的效果，但主人翁继续像平常一样的穿鞋，当收拾队拿了吹风，大家可以看一下，主人翁只是用力的抢过来，是的，生活对我们来说，都是无奈的，对我们的反抗，只是微不足道的。。。
读者看到这里，闭上你的眼睛，描绘一下：亲眼看见自己的房子被拆，今天起你将一无所有， 但是“Oh just to be with you is having the best day of my life。。。”，主人翁从容的背上小包，只带了一把雨伞与吹风，在自己的房子面前渐行渐远，最后消失在夜色中，但这些都不只要,“Oh just to be with you is having the best day of my life”。。。是的，其实，有你在我身边，就是最好的。
