Mr.Smith was going to the party of a rich friend. The house of the rich friend was far away. Mr.Smith was very poor and had to walk there. He took a box of pictures and some bread with him. As he walked along, he said to himself ,"I'll have abig dinner at my friend's home. What's the use of these dry bread !'' So he threw the bread to the ground.
Mr.Smith 去他一个很富有的朋友那里参加聚会。他朋友家很远，而他很穷，只能走着去那儿。他拿去了盒子的照片还有一些面包。当他自己在路上走的时候，他对自己说：“我得在朋友那里大吃一顿。这些干面包还有什么用！”所以他把面包仍在了地上。
这个故事我初中的时候好象看过，说后来他没找到他朋友的家，结果饿的很厉害，又想起了这些面包……
