quite可以形容right而very却不能形容 right．那么类似于right的还有那些词只能用quite或very修饰
quite 应该是表示一种语气，而very表示的是一种程度；
有些形容词只有是否之分，没有轻重之别，所以只能用quite；
所以凡是可以用very的地方，都可以用quite，反之却不行。
例如：quite right/wrong/all right(正确与否没轻重之分)
quite a lot/a little/some/a few（已近有程度了,不用very,前面有限定词的也不用very）
quite 还可以接动词:agree/understand
比如说“很少”这个意思 要说成quite a few 而不能用very a few
