desert作形容词的时候意思是“沙漠的 不毛的 荒凉的”
deserted意思是“荒芜的 荒废的 为人所弃的”
这两个词含义明显是不一样的
desert: (n.)barren land,with very little water and vegetation, often sand-rounded.
deserted(adj.) With no one present
So I don't think they have the sme idea.
