校园环境优美的成语:狮子有几个亚种

狮子的亚种好象不是很统一。

指名亚种（即为巴伯瑞狮，北非狮，巴巴里狮）Panthera leo leo

西非狮Panthera leo senegalensis

北刚果狮 Panthera leo azandica

东非狮 Panthera leo nubica

南刚果狮 Panthera leo bleyenberghi

南非狮 Panthera leo krugeri

三、十三分法（维基百科）

已知的13种亚种中有两种已经灭绝：北非狮（P. l. leo）生活在北非。它们的鬃毛尤其发达。1922年这个亚种中最后一只野生的动物在阿特拉斯山脉被杀。欧洲的狮子是否也属于这个亚种今天无法在考证了。

一些私人和动物园试图通过人工培养的方式重新培养出这个亚种。目前正在进行基因研究来分析他们的结果真的是这个亚种，还是含有这个亚种成份的一个亚种。

南非的好望角狮（P. l. melanochaita）也已灭绝。这个最大的狮子亚种于19世纪被猎人杀尽。

剩下的亚种中十种生活在萨哈拉沙漠南的非洲。亚洲狮（P. l. persica）可能也已难免灭绝。这种亚种曾一度降低到只有20头，现在又恢复到了300头。
