看到很多加to be的句子了，实在不明白为什么要加to be，知道的告诉下，谢谢！
不好意思我表达的不清楚。这里不是too...to的句型。我看到很多句子是在时间状语前面加to be。比如说He is very busy to be this week.

The sentence obviously means New York is very hot but I have not heard this expression before. Must be American or a mistake.
be意思是在那居住
全句意思是:今年纽约太热了,以至不能在那居住.
这是一个too...to的句型 ，太...以至于不...
这句话的意思是今年纽约太热了，以至于住不下去了。
纽约今年热到让人无法忍受。
表示程度
TOO...TO句型表示“太...而不能”，为固定搭配。英语的语言习惯，约定俗成，没有为什么
句子好象不好。
