注意要添的词是用来修饰number的，number作为数目在英语中只能有大小，而没有多少,因此有a large/small number of,但没有a many/few/little number of吧，再说后者a many/few number of本身读起来就很别扭，另外不能受汉语影响，说某某大会出席人数很多，似乎也是个病句，因此只有说很大的数目或很小的数目，而不说很多的数目或很少的数目，用short就更没道理了。

当直接修饰人sb时，才用many/few,因此假如要选A few,必须拿掉number of,变成 a few listeners.
