以下这个中国的网站，把“社会经济”翻译为Social Economy，也就是“社会的经济”

（二）“调查”
调查这个词，我认为用survey比较合适。
（三）为何“调查研究协会”要翻译作survey research association
参考资料来源于以下，这家美国大学的“调查研究中心”就叫Survey Research Center

翻译前得先认真分析这个协会的性质才能译准，
意思还原就是“调查和研究社会经济的协会”，所以必须把“调查”和“研究”放一起，“社会经济”，其实是“社会的经济”，不是什么外贸经济之类的，所以“社会”必须译成形容词的才准确。
