To catch up with this development we all feel an urgent and strong desire to study. However , due to the great pace of modern society , many people are too busy to study full time at school. Online education just comes to their aid.

Personally , I appreciate this new form of education. It’s indeed a helpful complement to the traditional educational means. It can provide different learners with more flexible and versatile ways of learning. Most of all ,with online education, we can sick to our jobs and at the same time study and absorb the latest knowledge.

Our life is more and more progressional with the advancement of science and technology. Many new technical products make our recent life differ greatly from that in the past. Of all the new technological wonders, the Internet plays an important role in our daily life. Nowadays every college must have the academic network in the campus, and most of the college students do many things through the Internet. The Internet has made a radical change in learning, getting information, communication, and entertainment in college recently.

Students do not need to sit and take lessons in the classroom. In other words, the teachers would put their course data on the Internet, and the students only need to stay in the dormitory and learn on the Internet. The Internet enables a college student to get knowledge faster and more conveniently. There are many news websites on the Net today, and they always report the latest news and the newest science on their websites. College students can get on the bulletin board and get the information about what has happened in the world immediately. There is a great deal of all kinds of data on the Internet; College students can find the course-related information from it.
The Internet expands a college student’s ability to communicate with others. College students can make friends and chat online with anyone in the world. The student in Taiwan can make friends with that in Japan by sending an e-mail, using the ICQ, or making use of BBS. In addition, the students can get together in an online chat room to discuss their interests and problems. By the web phone, ICQ, and e-mail, College students can save a lot of money when communicating with faraway family members through the Internet.
