grow 是生长的意思。
plant是种值的意思。
我也是外行，看看高手怎么解!
我选A。原因是，前面主语是种子，“有了光和水它就会长出根”虽然plant译为"长"但用它比较有韵味,把种子人物化（不要硬套成种子种根哦~~）.第二个主语是根,根可以生长到地面,想象一下根生长慢慢延伸,直至破土而出的情景,是不是正需要grow这个有延续性的动词呢？而plant只是个短暂性动词。呵呵~~
如果种子有合适的水和阳光,它就开始生根. 根 向下生长??? 不明白呢~~
