摘要：普法战争期间，对一辆驿车上的乘客的描写，刻画了当时的法国社会各阶层人物面对战争和危难时的态度和立场。通过对羊脂球中的妓女出于爱国心，无法忍受普鲁士军官的侮辱，可是驿车上受惠于她的乘客为了自身的利益，却怂恿她去满足敌人的淫欲，事后又鄙夷的躲开她，两相照，各种人物灵魂的美丑昭然若揭！

Abstract：During the Franco-Prussian War,(this paper) depicts the attitudes and standpoints of all estates in France faced to the war and jeopardy of that time by delineating a passenger on a post chaise. Because the patriotism of the prostitute in the suet ball, she could not bear the outrage of the Prussia military officer, while the other passengers incited her to meet the wanton of the enemy although they got profit from her. After that, they stand aside her despicablly. Comparing their behaviours, the souls of all the people was come to obvious.
