One day the lake begins to dry up.The tortoise and the geese are afraid.what zre the going to do without the lake?
The geese say to the tortoise,"Why don't we find ourselves a new home ?There is a big and beautiful lake on the other side of the hills.It's so big that it will never dry up!”
The tortoise is excidet."Is this really true?"he asks
"Of course,it's true !the geese answer
"But I can't fly,"says the tortoise sadly.
"It's all right,"says the geese ."We put a bamboo pole in our mouths.You can bite the pole and hang on,and not to open your mouth."
The geese fly high into the sky with the tor-toise .They fly over hills and valleys.At last They see the big and beautiful lake.
A tiger sees them. he shouts at them from the side of the lake.
"Look at the silly tortoise!"the tiger laughs."he thinks he's a bird.Ha!Ha!"
The tortoise becoms very angry.He oopens his mouth to shout back at the tiger.But he falls right into the tiger's trap. The geese fly on and land in the lake.They are very sad. They lose a close friend.
