电梯里放屁的搞笑视频:using movies as an aid to learning language

I am Austrailan, learning Chinese. I have lived in China for one year as an English teacher at Tonghua #1 High school, but now I am living in Australia.

Currently I don't have a Chinese teacher, as although there are about 10 Chinese in the town where I live (a country town, population 10,000 - 100 km s/e of Melbourne), they are too busy.

I was thinking of a way to continue improving my Chinese.I have the movie called '古宅心慌慌'However I noticed the speaking was too fast and it was difficult to understand, although they spoke many words I could recognize. So I got the script and have began making an English translation.

I am wondering if anyone who is already good at English would like to use this opportunity where we can help each other. I would like advice on my English translation, and get some explanations about certain Chinese sentence structures / grammar and the usage of slang, and informal language.

I calculated if I translate at least 30 lines per day, which is not very many, I can finish it in one month. Afterwards I would like to work on other films.

We can share our advice by email.

I can also share with you advice on English that you are working on, or life in Australia and Canada.

I'm serious about improving my Chinese level, but Chinese is very difficult and would appreciate all the advice I can get.

Sincerely,

Malcolm. 陈天歌

我觉得还是看生活片比较好。
因为它贴近生活,里面有你想要的slang&informal language。
《古宅心慌慌》不是。
Maybe it is the best way of learning Chinese to have a Chinese wife.
呵呵。
