Sothat 是错误的拼法。是误把两个字当成一个字了。
1. so that 有以下两种主要用法：
(1) 表目的，意为“为了”。如：
He studies hard so that he can pass the exam. 为了能通过 考试，他学习很努。
I am going to the lecture early so that I’ll get agood seat. 我想早点去听演讲, 以便找个好座位。
(2) 表结果，意为“结果”“所以”。如：
We’re all here now, so that the meeting can begin at last. 我们现在都到齐了, 终于能开会了。
I went to the lecture early so that I got a goodseat. 我去听演讲去得很早, 所以找个好座位。
注：表示结果的 so that 一般不置于主句前。
2. so……that…的意思是“如此……以致于……”。如：
He’s so clever that he learns English very quickly. 他很 聪明，英语学得很快。
I had so many falls that he was black and blue all over. 我摔了许多跤，以致于全身都是青一块紫一块的。
It’s so difficult a question that none of us cananswer it. 那是一个很难的问题，我们没有一个人能回答。
