grow的用法：(grow有“成长”、“种植”、“变得”的意思。分别作及物动词、不及物动词和连 系动词用。)
a. vt. 栽，种植
Farmers grow rice in the south of China. 在中国南方农民种稻。
注意grow和plant的区别：plant只指种下去的事，而grow指的是管理植物生长的全过程。如：
(1) They plant some trees every year. 他们每年都要种树。
(2) In this part of the country, farmers grow fruit trees, and they sell a lot of fruit every season. 在该国的这个地区，农民种果树，某个季节都出售大量的水果。
b. vi. 生长；成长；发育(儿童)长大
Rice grows in China, Japan and some other countries. 稻生长在中国、日本和一些别的国家。
c. link verb (联系动词)变得(但仍可保留"生长"意)
(1) The boy is growing tall. 这男孩长高了。
(2) My father grows old. 我父亲老起来了。
