打火机投资:guarantor和indemnifier的区别？

可以从他们各自的衍生词来看
如guarantor的英文意思是(law)person who gives a guarantee（1b）:(法律用语)给予担保的人

那来看下我字典里想对应的guarantee的意思：
guarantee(of sth/that)
promise given by one person to another that he will be responsible for seeing that sth is done(eg payment of a debt by another person)
担保 保证（如另一人偿还债务）

例句: give a guarantee of (one's/sb's) good behaviour
对（自己的/某人的）良好品行给予保证

那么guarantor就是那个给出保证的人

indemnifier是动词indemnify的授予者

那么看下indemnify
indemnify sb(from/against sth):(law or commerce)promise to compensate sb for any harm he may sugger(法律或商业)保证赔偿或补偿某人可能受到的损失

例如：indemnify sb against harm,damage ,loss,etc
向某人承担起万一受到伤害，损害，损失等时的赔偿

indemnify sb (for sth):(fml)repay sb(for sth)(文)为某事物向某人赔偿，补偿

例如 i undertook to indemnify them for expenses incurred on my behalf。我负责偿还他们为我而用的全部花费。

从以上分析可以看出guarantor只是向其他人保证，有信誉的意味
而indemnifier则更多有义务的体现，或更向是买保险的保险人

最后还有我的一点小建议：学英语不一定把单词都区分好，因为并不是没两个单词都可以区分，最重要的是搞清楚每个单词的用法就行了。
