1. If I have a long holiday, I will try to arrange a family trip to a nearby theme park. Usually I like to invite a few friends to come with us, especially those who have kids, too. My husband enjoys driving. I like to give the kids some riddles, or math problems to solve in the car. With Laughing, chatting, eating and sleeping sometimes, time really flies!
2. To tell you the truth, I prefer both. But if I can only pick one, then I would say a short holiday between short intervals which means a three day holiday(long weekend).The reason is as follows: We all have busy lives. Usually on the two day weekend, we are fully occupied by housework like food shopping, laundry, making a nice dinner and so on. We don't really have time for entertainment. We feel like we burnout. With those three day holiday, we could have our energy recharge.
3. One of the most unforgettable New Year could be this Chinese New Year, year of the dog. This year I decided to have a little celebration in my school with the children ,which I have never had before. Two of my colleagues were very excited to join me. As the New Year was on the weekend, we decided to have our dragon parade before the New Year. We invited an artist to school to show us how to make a paper dragon. On Friday, everybody dressed up. Some children played Chinese gongs. Some children held the dragon body. My colleague Nadine was the dragon head and I was the tail. It was not easy to have good body coordination when so many people walked at the same time. At the end, though a little bit tired, we all had a great day.
