waiting 后为什么没加for呢？wait for不是一个固定搭配吗？一句话中是不能两个介词连用吗？希望大家能帮我解决这个问题，谢谢！

这个wait for 后面必须加 somebody
而楼主这句话wait后面是地点，没有宾语，所以不加for

wait for 表示 “等待某人”，for引导后面的人

这个句子里面，被等待的人没有交代，所以直接用wait就可以了

只有要说明“被等待的人”的时候，才用for 并且后面要加上这个人

当然，你的句子比较特殊-----可以加for，但是这个for和后面的all morning连在一起理解，表示等候了多长时间
