The 29th Olympic Games will be held in Beijing !
The International Olympic Committee(IOC) awarded the Games to the world’s most populous(人口稠密) nation for the first time .The Chinese government and people will go out to carry forward the Olympic spirit, promote world peace and enhance friendship.
Beijing Games will be centered on an "Olympic Green " to be built in the north of the city. Now mostly field ,Beijing says the site will have an Olympic village with 17,600 beds, advanced sports facilities, press centers and lush(茂盛的)woods in 2008. He Zhenliang, the top Chinese Olympic official, said to the IOC members, "In the seven years’ time, Beijing will make you proud of the decision you took. "Beijing will be ready for Olympics.
