在情态动词will和couldn't后面,必须用动词原形.
因为在第三人称单数前面和后面分别出现了how和couldn't.
这里的will是助动词，couldn't是情态动词，助动词和情态动词不能单独做谓语，必须加上另外的实义动词共同做谓语。此时动词的数和时态由情态动词表现。
动词的三人称形式是在一般现在时态时才用，不是所以主语是三人称单数动词都要用这种形式，这里动词和在情态动词一起构成谓语，当然就不用三人称单数形式了。
