是不是前者就是指，平常约定时间一起去那里什么的，后者指男女之间的约会？
appointment是预约，名词,常用make an appointment,表与某人的预约,date是约会,date还可以做动词，如男女孩的约会。

appointment是预约,好像每与医生的预约等,date是约会,如男女孩的约会等
你说的不错，date还可以做动词，表示“和XX去约会”
