but后面与事实相符啊，当然用过去时啦
should/would/could/might +have+过去分词 这种形势表示一种情绪，比如should have done表责备。一般这种结构后面说得与事实相反，所以要加个have，并且说的也是“过去的过去”
买辅导书吧，任何一本高考语法复习的辅导书都有虚拟语气这一章，有讲解还有题。
这里have是助动词,这句话其实是两句话的构成,前半句"Tom might have come to school in time for the lecture",但是后半部分的but连接的句子说明了事实的真相,如果后半句也是与过去事实相反,那它就可以用过去完成时.也就是if he had gotten up earlier.
