Unity and diversity are philosophy concepts, they are the important principle the world must abbey to.
All things in the world, such as flowers, birds, they must undergo the all process including growing up, developing and dying out. As we know, there are many rules we should abide in our society life such as law and code, school rules and so on, even including the traffic rules. But all of them have different ways to live and different characteristics to show. Let’s illustrate this with the growing processes of the creature, they have different aims for growing, different ways for living and different effect on environment. All these phenomena in our life show us unity and diversity existing wherever and whenever.

At first, let’s talk something about unity.
Unity means we should coordinate our efforts to one goal. It is very important to us. Peace will disappear if the world is without unity; The development of a country’s economy will be held back if without unity; It will turn to dirty and in a muddle if a city without unity; It will cause quarrels if a family is without unity. On the other hand, if we want to win a competition as a team, every player should cooperate with each other. To our students, to every class, all the classmates should keep together, hand in hand. In this way, we will have much more power. So, everything can’t do without unity.

However, it doesn’t mean that our life need unity only, diversity can’t be lost, it also be very important. For example, if the people in the world all have the same face, you can imagine that the world must be in great trouble. So, there are many kinds of human races, their hair, eyes and skin are different in color, their languages, dispositions are different too. It’s just because of the diversity of creature, the nature can be full of vitality; It is also due to the diversity, the economy will be developing, the country will be more and more prosperous then and only then. Therefore, there is diversity existing, the world can be abundant.

Above all, I think, unity and diversity contact with each other. For instance, if a team is good at individual skills but poor in teamwork, it can never succeed in a game; At the same time, if it only has unity but no individual skills, it can never succeed in the game too. As a result, unity is the foundation of diversity, and diversity is the expanding of unity, we should get balance at them.
