世界宣明会(简称宣明会)是一个国际性救援及发展组织，自1982年参与中国青海水灾救援后，至今，宣明会通过儿童为本的区域发展项目、救灾及重建、教育、医疗卫生、农林环保、孤儿及特殊需要的儿童服务，以及城市困境儿童发展、微型企业等项目，帮助贫穷人摆脱贫穷；宣明会的工作已经遍布全球一百多个国家，在中国则分布于十四个省份。

随着全球的传染病日益严重, 威胁人类的生命和社会发展, 特别是艾滋病和结核病, 宣明会自2001年先后在甘肃, 广西和云南与政府合作, 开展系统的疾病预防控件目, 并在甘肃省兰州市设立世界宣明会卫生部办事处，以统筹及协调国内卫生项目的开展, 并开展特殊卫生项目.
