关键在于你所说的那个both are righ 里的both 是主语。
而my parents are both fine里的my parents是主语。

你就这么记好了，both和all接在助动词后，实义动词前，是副词。
both修饰两个，all修饰三个或三个以上，这个知道了吧？
助动词就是am is are了
实义动词就是其他的那些有具体意义的带有动作性的动词了，象run啊什么的

你说的对，both are right这句没有错，但是这里both是单独一个代词，不是副词来的。
