Key officials within the Commission hierarchy still seem amenable to possible further exclusions in principle, though there is no further proposal on the table yet. We understand, however, that the UK Government, for one, is likely to submit proposals for discussion in time for the next meeting. The UK is actively considering an exclusion based on price points, e.g., a minimum price set in respect of different types of footwear.
