中国有5千年历史，但自从在这里发现大地湾文化遗址后，中国的文化延至到8千年。人文始祖伏羲来自这里，中国的第一个皇帝的家乡也是这里。这里的麦积山石窟是中国4大石窟之一，是世界文化遗产。老城区主要以明清建筑为主，但新城区却又是时尚现代。
China is a country with a history of five thousand years.But since the Dadiwan culture site was discovered,China's history of culcure has been extended to eight thousand years.The primogenitor of Chinese culture was from here.And the hometown of the first emperor was this place too.The grotto in Maiji Mountain here is one of the four greatest grottos in China and it's one of the world's culture legacies.The old part of the city is formed by the structures which was built in Ming、Qing dynasty,while the new part of the city is fashionable and modern.
